My Top 10 Favorite Healthy Snacks

I’m a huge fan of snacking in between meals- it helps stable blood sugar levels and ensures that you never arrive at your next meal starving or overeat. Sometimes, however, it can be confusing to know what exactly to snack on, so I’ve compiled this list of my ten favorites- enjoy! xx

  • Raw veggies with homemade guacamole, tahini, or handful of raw nuts
  • Homemade Bliss Balls (check out some of my favorites here and here)

  • Organic Greek Yogurt or Sheep’s milk yogurt with a handful of seeds and nuts
  • Dates stuffed with walnuts and shredded coconut
  • Homemade popcorn topped with nutritional yeast
  • Low glycemic smoothie (try this- 1/2 cup frozenberries, 1/4 avocado, tbsp cashew butter, chocolate protein powder, 1 cup coconut milk, dash of cinnamon, 1 tsp maca powder and some crushed ice!) or protein shake
  • An apple or banana with 100% natural nut butter
  • Homemade healthy raw desert or cookies (like this one here and here) with a decaf latte or some healthy hot cocoa 
  • Organic cheese or vegan cheese with lentil or seed crackers
  • Homemade trail mix with raw, activated nuts, 100% cacao chocolate, banana chips, and goji berries (goji berries are a lot lower in sugar than most dried fruits)

I’m terrible at snacking and am ALWAYS on the go, working with my personal styling & shopping clients – and need to get more disciplined about bringing snacks with me. The homemade bliss balls sound, well, blissful 😉 I’ll have to try making them, thanks for providing the recipes!
