Okay, sooo I am obsessed with greens; in my opinion, they are the ultimate super food! I try to include some type of greenĀ in every meal of the day, but sometimes it’s hard to do in the mornings, since I am more of a sweet breakfast type of gal, not savory; that’s where my morning smoothie bowls come in!
What amazes me so much about most greens is that you can add them into smoothies and hardly even know they are there! If you’re not as green obsessed as me, you can add some into a berry smoothie, chocolate smoothie, or tropical smoothie and not even see them or taste them; however, if you don’t mind eating green foods, you will LOVE this smoothie.
Recipe
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup frozen mango
- 1 huge handful spinach
- 1/2 tsp spirulina powder
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 1 stevia packet
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- a few sprinkles of cinnamon
- crushed ice
Blend all ingredients together and top with mango slices, banana slices, and my easy homemade pumpkin granola!
