I wanted something chocolaty, nourishing, and filling for breakfast this morning, so I came up with these warm chocolate oats. If you’re looking for something warming and chocolaty yet still incredibly healthy, vegan, gluten free, and sugar free, than I highly recommend this! Enjoy lovelies xxx
Recipe
- 1/2 cup gluten free oats
- 1 heaping tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tsp maca powder (optional)
- 2 stevia packets or 2 tsp’s sweetener of choice
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- sprinkle of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
Cook the oats, cacao powder, maca powder, cinnamon and stevia in water for a few minutes. Than add vanilla and keep stirring. When the oats are almost done being cooked, add in the coconut milk and cook on a low flame for one or two more minutes. Serve with cashew butter, strawberries, and cacao nibs
