I love creating my own Buddha bowls, and this Asian Tofu bowl is one of my favorites. It’s a perfect hearty meal for a cold winter night and is so easy to make! Enjoy xx
Recipe
- 1/4 cup brown rice, cooked with salt, pepper, and 1 garlic clove
- 5 stalks rainbow chard
- 1/2 broccoli, chopped
- 1/3 packet extra firm tofu, cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup cooked edemame
- 1/4 sliced avocado (optional)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp’s tamari
- salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder to taste
First, put the brown rice to cook. While cooking, add the tbsp sesame oil to a small pan, add in the tofu, top with spices, and cook until lightly brown. In a separate pan, sautee the chard and broccoli with a touch of water, tamari, and spices. When everything is done, put ingredients in a bowl and top with sliced avocado and edemame. Can top with more tamari if needed.
