If you follow along my posts on Instagram, you should know by now that I have a hardcore obsession with CBD oil! I will do a full-on blog post explaining exactly why within the next few weeks, but some of my favorite effects of taking CBD oil on a daily basis include relief from anxiety and depression, decreased inflammation, decreased joint pain, and healthier GI function.
I usually just take a dropper-full directly under my tongue about once a day, or whenever I’m feeling anxious, but lately I’ve been loving adding some into several different recipes. I love this recipe because not only does it have CBD oil, but it has some collagen ( which helps with joint pain and gut health as well), and calming adaptogens (which also help relieve symptoms of anxiety and depression). These bliss balls provide natural energy, essential nutrients, and a calming effect- they are the perfect afternoon pick-me up! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do xx
Cacao Bliss Balls with CBD Oil Recipe
- 1 cup gluten- free oats
- 2 tbsp’s cacao powder
- 4 tbsp’s cashew butter
- 5 tbsp’s melted coconut oil
- 2 tbsp collagen powder
- 1 tbsp sun potion yin power
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp’s agave (or any sweetener of your choice!)
- 2 dropper-full’s CBD oil (I used tonic OG CBD oil)
- dash of cinnamon
Mix everything together in a food processor, roll into balls, refrigerate for an hour or two and enjoy!!
