Is it weird that brussels sprouts are my favorite food? I could literally eat them every day, any way; I am completely obsessed!
Brussels Sprouts are amazing for so many reasons. They are very high in Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Folate, Manganese, Fiber and Vitamin B6. They also contain some omega-3 fatty acids, protein, and iron. Brussels Sprouts contain a ton of antioxidants to help ward off cancer and may even work better than brocolli at doing so! They also belong to the cruciferous vegetable family, which means that they are excellent detoxifiers. Our bodies don’t only need to detox a few times a year; we need to detoxify our bodies every day in order to prevent us from getting sick , and this can easily be done by eating a few servings of brussels sprouts (and other cruciferous veggies) on a daily basis!
I know brussels sprouts aren’t everyones favorite, but I’m hoping this recipe will help you like them at least a little more than you do now! xx
