I am a big lover of berries, but sometimes I get bored of using the same old berries in my daily smoothies; that’s where maqui berry powder comes in!

Maqui berry’s pack in a ton of antioxidants; in fact, they contain more antioxidants than most fruits and veggies. Antioxidants help protect our bodies against the dangerous effects of free radicals, which are impossible to avoid these days since our air is filled with them! Did you know that free radicals can cause damage to our DNA and cause terrible diseases? Yuck..We definitely don’t want that to happen if we want to be our happiest and healthiest selves!

This breakfast bowl is packed with antioxidants, healthy fats, and protein to keep you healthy and feeling full. Most importantly. it is berrrry delicious 😉

Recipe

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen berries
  • 1 tbsp maqui berry powder
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1 handful baby spinach
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • pinch of stevia
  • sprinkle of cinnamon
  • crushed ice

Blend ingredients and top with toppings of your choice! I personally think this smoothie goes great with some raw granola, sliced banana, pepitas, blueberries and fresh coconut 🙂
